When developing Neuma fds our objective was to create a COMPLIANT system that is PROVEN to CONSISTENTLY exceed the requirements of our National Test Standards and meet the demanding European Test Standards, delivering reassurance to all stakeholders.

How did we achieve this?

  • 44 individual test specimens were subject to 22 bi-directional fire tests, proving consistency
  • All 44 were independently independently tested to EN1634-1: 2014 by EU notified body test houses
  • We tested both solid and glazed door leaf options, either with or without overhead fan lights
  • All doorsets were tested with letter plates, viewers and door closers included
  • All featured auto-throw locks
  • Tests were conducted in three countries, to address variables in test laboratories
  • Test specimens were installed in both rigid and flexible supporting wall construction

And to prove it…

We filmed every fire test.
