Neuma fds is a fully compliant FD30 composite fire door system.

Each doorset comprises tried and independently tested components.

All stages of the supply chain, up to and including doorset manufacture are third-party certified to the BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door Manufacturer certification scheme.

By choosing to mandate the supply chain, we have more autonomy and control than our competitors. We can manage all components apart from door closers and sealed units; however, these must match the tested specification.

What does this mean?

Quite simply, it means less dilution of the fire door; helping to maintain integrity, consistency and performance, and ultimately, offer protection to both life and property in the event of a fire.

Our fire door system is available in 10 door styles , with or without an overhead fanlight, and in a variety of colours, through our network of approved fds doorset manufacturing partners.

Door Styles

fds is pleased to offer a variety of door styles, 10 in total. Specifiers can choose from solid or glazed options, either with or without overhead glazed fanlights. The entrance doorset also features a low threshold (Approved Document M), as well as additional hardwood cill and frame extensions.

Colour Options

While performance is the key driver in the decision making process, we understand that colour and individuality is still important to both landlords and residents. Whether this is to inject personality; delineate between properties or simply offer tenants a choice.

All of our doors come as white as standard, but can be painted in any RAL colour. Our 6 Panel door is available from stock in Black, Red, Blue and Anthracite Grey.

DDA compliant 316 Marine Grade stainless steels handles
3* security thumb turn cylinder (kite-marked) and supplied with three keys
TS008 kite-marked security letterplate (if required)

Door Blank Dimensions

The Neuma fds door blank is available in three sizes:

762 x 2013mm can be trimmed to 722 x 1903mm
838 x 2013mm can be trimmed to 758 x 1903mm
914 x 2013mm can be trimmed to 834 x 1903mm

Smaller flush door sizes are available subject to minimum order requirements.

Range:

1003 x 2557mm – 811 x 2197mm with 500-250mm Fanlight Height (Door Leaf 914x2013mm – 722x1903mm).

Trimmable

The Neuma fds door blank is trimmable, 40mm from each side (762mm limited to 20mm each side).

Material

The Neuma fire door system utilises a glass reinforced polyester (GRP) composite door blank. The stiles and rails are hardwood lamels of mixed species which are bonded to the compression moulded GRP skins and the core fully filled with a fire-retardant phenolic foam.
