As a brand of Distinction Doors, fds benefits from the company’s extensive knowledge and experience with composite doors.

The founder of Distinction Doors, Drew Wright is responsible for bringing the first GRP composite doors to the UK.

Established in 2004, and the first composite door company to launch to the UK market, Distinction Doors is renowned for leading the way – the launch of fds is testament to this.

The company is also the first stockist and distributor of glass reinforced polyester (GRP) door blanks in the UK to be granted prestigious Secured by Design (SBD) status.

Quality and Accreditation

The company has gained approval for both standard and fire entrance door blanks.  Neuma fds is SBD accredited in its own right.

The business operates from two distribution centres in South Yorkshire.  It operates under a Quality Management System and is certified to ISO 9001:2015.

Distinction Doors also holds Disability Confident employer status and is an Investors in People accredited organisation.
